Kendriya Vidyalaya Araria

We are currently operating from the campus of Gandhi Smarak Higher Secondary School in Araria. It’s quite close to the railway station, so you can often hear the trains passing by throughout the day. Being on a shared campus means we have to coordinate with the other school, but we’ve made it work. Our part of the building is simple. We have classrooms with basic benches and blackboards. There’s no air conditioning or fancy labs, just the essentials for teaching. The ground is big enough for the kids to run around during the break. Most of our students come from the town and nearby villages. The teachers here are dedicated, often staying late to finish their work or help a student. It’s not a flashy environment. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the furniture is a bit old, but it serves its purpose well. We focus on the daily lessons and getting through the syllabus. There’s a small office where we keep all the records in big steel cupboards. If you visit, you’ll likely find us busy with some administrative task or talking to a parent. We don't have a big budget for fancy things, so we make do with what we have. It’s a very local, down-to-earth school where everyone knows each other’s business. We try our best to keep everything running smoothly despite the limited space we have.
