Baraidgah General Store

You can find our general store right in the heart of Village Bara Idgah. We are located in the Amour Taluka of Purnia district. It’s a small place and everyone in the village comes by at some point during the week to pick up what they need. We’ve been here for a long time, and the store has become a bit of a meeting spot for the locals. We carry all the usual things people need for their homes. The building is old and we’ve had to patch the roof a few times, but it stays dry inside. It’s usually just one or two of us behind the counter. We know most of our customers by name since they are our neighbors. Sometimes the supply trucks take a while to reach us because the roads in this part of Purnia aren't always the best, especially during the rainy season when things get flooded. We don't have any fancy shelves or bright lights, just the basic stuff. Life in Bara Idgah is pretty quiet, and we like it that way. We spend our days chatting with folks and helping them find what they are looking for. It’s not a big business, but it keeps us busy and serves the people here. We try to keep the prices fair because we know everyone in the village. It’s a simple way to live and work, and we plan on staying right here for a long time.
