Krisar Silk Creations

Our business, Krisar Silk Creations, is at No. 418/ 191 A. It is a bit of a strange address to explain to people, but once you find the gate, you are there. We work mostly with silk, as the name says. The space is filled with the smell of fabric and sometimes the dyes we use. It is not a sterile environment at all. There are threads hanging from the ceiling and bits of silk on the chairs. We are a small team and we have known each other for years. We don't really have titles or anything like that. We just see what needs to be done and do it. Some days are spent just sorting through colors and textures. It is a slow process sometimes, and we don't try to rush it. The building is older, with high ceilings that help keep it cool. We don't have air conditioning, just the breeze through the windows. It is a very traditional way of working. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy office supplies. We use old ledgers to keep track of things sometimes. It feels more real that way. People come to us because they know we have been doing this for a long time in this same spot. We are just regular people who happen to know a lot about silk and how to handle it. It is our trade and we stick to it.
