Krishna Balaji Traders

If you are standing near the Sankarapuram Bus Stand, you can probably see us across the way. Krishna Balaji Traders is right at 12/4, Pottai Road. Being opposite the bus stand means there is always noise and people moving around. It’s a busy spot. We handle a lot of different goods, mostly trading whatever is in demand for the local shops around here. The building is old but it works for us. Inside, it’s usually a bit of a mess with boxes and crates piled up. We try to keep it tidy, but when shipments come in, space gets tight. We start early because the buses start running early. You get used to the sound of the engines and the people shouting. Our work is mostly about moving things from one place to another and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the day. We don't have a fancy office. Just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of heavy lifting. Sometimes the heat makes the work slow, but we keep at it. People stop by for a chat or to check on their orders. It’s a very local kind of place. We’ve been on Pottai Road for quite some time now. Most folks know where to find us if they need something moved or traded. It isn't complicated work, just long hours and a lot of looking at lists. We just do what needs doing every single day.
