Solar Planet

Our spot on P. C. Sen Road is right near the Grils High School, so we hear the bells and the kids shouting all day. It’s a good spot, sitting right beside Motilal Bastralay Goli. Solar energy is what we deal with, but mostly it’s about being outside and talking to people. We spend a lot of time on rooftops, looking at the sun and figuring out where things should go. It’s hot work, and you definitely get a tan whether you want one or not. The shop itself is a bit cluttered with panels and wires and tools. We don’t really have a showroom with fancy lights. If you want to see what we do, you just look at the back of our truck or the roof of the building next door. People stop in because they saw us while they were out buying clothes at the shop next door. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don’t use a lot of big words or complicated explanations. If the sun hits the panel, you get power. That’s the basic idea we stick to. Sometimes the rain stops us from working, so we just sit in the shop and drink tea until it clears up. It’s a slow pace compared to the big city, but it suits us just fine. We like being part of the neighborhood here. We have been in this location for quite a while now and we know the shortcut through the Motilal Bastralay Goli.
