Our place is located at 208, Mettu Theru, right near Chinnammal School. You can often hear the kids shouting and playing during their break times while we are out front working on the trucks. It is a lively part of the neighborhood to be in. We spend most of our time packing up boxes and carrying heavy furniture for people moving house. It is a lot of lifting and bending, and some days my back really feels it. We have been working out of this spot on Mettu Theru for a few years now. Most of the people around here know us and see us coming and going with the loaders. We try to be careful with people's things, but it's a messy job sometimes. We keep our tape, boxes, and bubble wrap tucked away in a small storage area at the back. The street is a bit narrow, so we have to be careful when we park the big truck so we don't block the neighbors. We aren't a big company with a lot of staff, just a few of us who know how to get the job done. Every house we go to is a bit different, and you never really know how much stuff someone has until you start putting it in boxes. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things simple and honest. It’s a good way to make a living here.
