Brakes India Limited

Down in Sholinghur in the Vellore district, we’ve got this place where we focus on brakes. It’s been here for quite some time, and a lot of people in the area work with us. The facility is large and can get pretty warm during the middle of the day. You can hear the sound of metal being worked and machines running from quite a distance away. It’s a busy environment where everyone has a specific job to do. We don't spend much time talking about what we do; we just get on with it. The work involves a lot of precision, but the setting is very industrial and plain. There are stacks of components everywhere and people moving back and forth between the different sections. It’s the kind of place where you wear heavy boots and keep your head down. We see a lot of material coming in and finished products going out on big trailers. The roads around here can be a bit dusty, and the local tea shops are usually where you’ll find some of the guys during their breaks. It isn't a glamorous job by any means, but it’s what we know. We’ve become a part of the landscape here in Sholinghur over the years. We just keep the machines running and try to make sure everything stays on schedule as much as possible. It’s just the way things are around here.
