Mother Industries

You can find us at Mother Industries, located at No. 19/8 Thulasingam Street. It’s a narrow enough road, and sometimes the delivery trucks have a real hard time backing in without hitting something. The building is an old one, with high ceilings that trap the heat in the summer and keep it a bit chilly during the monsoon. We’ve got our equipment set up in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit disorganized to an outsider. There’s always a pile of scrap in the corner waiting to be cleared out. We don't have an office staff as such; it's mostly just the same few of us doing the heavy lifting and answering the phone when we can hear it ringing over the hum of the fans. The street outside is usually full of neighbors and other small shops, so there’s always someone stopping by for a quick chat or to borrow a tool. We don't put on any airs here. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in our work shirts, likely covered in a bit of dust or sweat. It’s just a regular place where we put in our hours and try to do right by the job. We’ve been at this for a while now, and the routine hasn't changed much, which is fine by us. Sometimes we stay late when there's a lot to catch up on, but we mostly try to finish up before it gets too dark.
