Prakash Traders

If you are ever in Arakkonam looking for us, we are right near the ICICI Bank. It is a busy spot, especially on Mondays when everyone is trying to get their banking done. Our shop, Prakash Traders, has been sitting in this same spot for quite a while now. We sell a bit of everything, mostly stuff people need for their homes or small shops nearby. It’s not a very big space, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped when the new stock arrives and we have to stack boxes up to the ceiling. I usually sit near the front desk while the boys help move things around. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign, just the name on the shutter. The air gets a bit dusty in the afternoons when the wind blows through the street, but we’re used to it. Most of our customers are regulars who live just a few streets over. They come in for a chat as much as they do for buying things. We try to keep things simple. If we don’t have what you want, we tell you straight. No point in making things complicated. It is just a regular trading business in a regular town. We open up early, around nine, and stay until the street gets quiet at night. It is a decent way to spend the day, honestly. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot, but we just stay here doing our thing near the bank.
