M B Power (Mp) Pvt. Ltd. is situated out in Jaithari, specifically in the Anuppur area. We are part of Phase 3, which is a bit of a trek if you are coming from the main town. The landscape around here is mostly industrial, with lots of dust and heavy trucks moving in and out all day long. Working at a power company means things stay busy around the clock. We have different shifts coming through, so there is always someone around the site. The office part isn't anything special to look at, just desks, filing cabinets, and some maps on the walls. Most of the real action happens outside with the infrastructure. It gets quite hot in this part of Madhya Pradesh, especially in the summer months, so the fans are always humming. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow out here, which can be annoying when we need to send reports. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor. We just make sure the operations keep running as they should. You see a lot of people in hard hats and boots walking around. It is a serious place but the guys usually have time for a quick chat during the break. There is a small canteen nearby where most of us grab lunch. It is a long day usually, but that is just part of being in the power sector in a place like Anuppur.
