Jaypee Group

Jaypee Group has a spot here in the Mpseb Colony at Birsinghpur Pali. Being in Umaria district means things are a lot quieter than the big cities. We’re at E 84, which is part of the staff colony area. It’s a small place, really. The surroundings are mostly trees and the residential quarters for the people working near the power station. Our daily routine is pretty steady. We get in, check what needs doing, and just get on with it. The air is a bit different here, more open and less dusty than Delhi. We don’t have many visitors, so the office stays fairly quiet most of the day. There’s a ceiling fan that makes a bit of a clicking sound, but nobody bothers fixing it because it still cools the room. We keep our records in some old steel almirahs. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or chat until it comes back on. It’s a simple life in Pali. We’ve got a small kettle for making tea when we don’t feel like walking to the main gate. The furniture is all wooden and looks like it’s been here since the colony was built. It’s an honest place to work. We don't need much to keep things running. Just a desk, some paper, and a bit of patience for the slower pace of life in Madhya Pradesh.
