Hotline Hospital

Working across from the stadium in Pandav Nagar means we get a lot of noise whenever there is a big match or an event going on. You can hear the crowds cheering while we are inside trying to focus. Hotline Hospital is a busy place, especially in the evenings. We have got different shifts, and sometimes the handovers are a bit messy because there is so much happening at once. The lobby gets crowded with families waiting around. We have some old benches that probably need replacing soon. The location is easy to find because everyone knows where the stadium is. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard for people to park their cars. We see all sorts of cases come through the doors every day. It is not a quiet job, that is for sure. I spend a lot of my time answering the phone or looking for files that someone misplaced. The floors are cleaned every few hours, but with so many people walking in from the street, it is hard to keep them spotless. We just do the work as it comes. It is a practical environment, no frills or expensive art on the walls. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we are used to the chaos of Pandav Nagar. We just keep things moving as best as we can. It is a long day usually, but that is just life in a hospital like this.
