Grihasti Dily Needs

Our shop is located in Gharaula Mohalla, over in the Bhatnagar area of Shahdol. We are pretty close to the bus stand, which means we get a mix of regulars from the neighborhood and people just passing through. Grihasti Dily Needs is exactly what it sounds like—a place where you can find the small things you need for the house. We don’t have aisles and aisles of stuff, just shelves packed with what people actually use every day. The morning starts early here because people always forget something for breakfast or need milk. We know most of the families in the mohalla by name, and we usually spend a few minutes catching up while they shop. It’s not a quiet place, especially with the bus stand nearby, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of horns and engines. The shop is small and can get a bit crowded when more than three people are inside, but we make it work. We spend our downtime restacking the shelves or checking the dates on the packages. There’s no big philosophy behind it; we just want to make sure the locals have a place nearby to get their supplies without having to go all the way into the main market. It’s just us, working in our little corner of Shahdol and taking each day as it comes.
