We've been set up here at Camp No 3 in Kotma Colliery for a while now. If you know the Bhalu Mada area in Anuppur district, you know it's not the busiest place, but there is plenty of work to do. We mostly deal with the communications equipment and making sure everything stays connected for the people around here. It gets a bit dusty being near the colliery, but that's just how it is. Our team is small and we mostly just focus on the daily tasks without much fuss. Most days are spent checking on the towers or fixing things that have gone down. It’s practical work. We’ve got a little office space here in MP and we try to keep things running smoothly. People around here know where to find us if there’s a problem with the signal. It's not a fancy corporate setup or anything like that. Just a group of us working out of this spot to handle the technical side of things for the district. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get out to certain sites, especially when it rains heavy. We just take it one day at a time. The address is quite specific so technicians usually find us okay. We don't really have a big sign outside. It’s just us doing what needs to be done every morning. It’s decent work and keeps us busy. We like the quiet life here.
