Ashok Hardware

Ashok Hardware is a local shop in Phunga, specifically in Ward-7 near the old bus stand. Being near the bus stand means there is always a lot of movement and noise around us. We sell all sorts of hardware items like nails, screws, basic tools, and things for plumbing or painting. The shop is a bit small for all the things we try to keep in stock, so it can feel a little crowded when you walk in. We don't have any polished displays or bright lights. It’s just shelves filled with boxes and some larger items leaning against the walls. People from the nearby villages often stop by when they get off the bus to pick up things they need for their homes or farms. We’ve lived in this district for a long time, so we know what people are looking for. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. If we have it, we sell it at a fair price, and if we don't, we tell them where they might find it. It is a very basic way of doing business, but it works for us and for our customers. The day usually goes by quickly because there is always someone coming in for a chat or a small purchase. We are just a regular part of the neighborhood, providing the everyday tools that keep the local houses and farms running.
