Manoj Bartan Bhandaar

If you walk down the Main Bazar in Shivganga Nagar, you will find us at Shop Number 29. It is Manoj Bartan Bhandaar, and we have been selling kitchen stuff and metal items for a long time. The bazar is always noisy and full of people, which we actually like. Inside the shop, there are stacks of plates, pots, and all kinds of utensils everywhere you look. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when a few families come in at once, but we manage. People come from all over the district to find things for their homes. We don't have a big fancy showroom, just rows of shelves filled with stainless steel and brass. Some days are slower than others, but during wedding seasons, it gets really hectic around here. We try to keep everything stocked up so nobody leaves empty-handed. My father started this and now we just keep it going day by day. We know most of the regular customers by their first names. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when the shop is quiet and watch the bikes go by. It’s a simple life running a hardware and utensil shop in a place like this. We don’t bother with much else besides making sure the inventory is right. The dust from the road gets in, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the shine back onto the pots.
