Kandribudhi Vegitable Producer Company

We are located in Tileibani at Telikusum. It's part of the Dimirikuda Block. This is where we run Kandribudhi Vegitable Producer Company. It's mostly about vegetables here. We spend our days dealing with whatever is in season. Sometimes it’s tomatoes, other times it’s greens. It depends on the rain and the soil. We aren't a huge corporation with millions of dollars. We are just people from the village working together to get things done. You can find us near the post office in Dimirikuda if you need to talk. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. Usually, there's just some of us sitting around discussing the market prices or the next planting cycle. The road to Telikusum can get a bit rough during the monsoon, but we make it work. We’ve all grown up around here and know the land pretty well. Growing vegetables is honest work, even if it doesn't make us rich. We just want to make sure the crops get out to where they need to go. Sometimes the harvest is good, sometimes it isn’t so great. That’s just how it goes with farming. We don't use big words or have fancy meetings. We just meet up, decide what needs doing for the day, and get to it. It’s a bit dusty and the shed is old, but it serves our purpose just fine. Most of us have been doing this since we were kids, so it feels natural to just keep going together like this. We hope to see a good crop of onions and chillies this year.
