Greenive Rice Industries Private Limited

We are located in the Chainpal Colony, which is right by the Thermal TTPS in Talcher. It’s a busy industrial area, but we focus on something more traditional—rice. The company is run out of Anand Bazar, near the home of Prahalld Sahoo. Dealing with rice in the Angul district is a big job because there is so much of it around. We have our own small processing setup and a place to store the sacks before they go out. It’s often quite loud here because of the power station nearby and the heavy trucks on the road, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend our days checking the paddy and making sure the milling is done right. It’s a hands-on business. You’ll usually find us with dust on our clothes from the warehouse. We don't have any fancy brochures or a high-tech website. We just rely on the relationships we’ve built with the farmers and the buyers over time. Some days the machines act up, and we have to spend hours fixing them, but that’s just life in the rice industry. We are a small team, and everyone chips in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s loading a truck or doing the accounts. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know, and we do it the best we can here in Orissa. We just keep our heads down and keep the rice moving.
