Govindasena Foundation

Govindasena Foundation is set up at 3-29/B on the ground floor. We are right in the NCB Colony along the Akkaram Palli Road in Jeevako. Being on the ground floor is handy because people don't have to climb any stairs to reach us. The colony is usually a mix of houses and small offices, so it feels quite lived-in and comfortable. We aren't trying to be some high-level organization with polished floors and fancy suits. It’s more about being accessible to the folks who live nearby. Sometimes the kids from the colony are playing outside, and you can hear them while we’re trying to get work done. We do a lot of our own cleaning and organizing here. The office is just a few rooms where we keep our records and meet with people. Akkaram Palli Road can get a bit congested during the morning rush, but otherwise, it’s a pretty steady place to be. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we’ve gotten to know the regular faces. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything. Most of our work is just handled by a few of us who care about the neighborhood. It’s practical, everyday work that doesn’t always get a lot of attention, but it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. We just keep our doors open and do what needs doing for the people who come to us.
