Our place is at No 1-223-32 in NakkalaDinne, right on the Bangalore Road in Madanapalle. It’s a good location because we’re right on the main path for transport, which helps with the export and import work we do. Madanapalle has some of the best weather in the region, so it’s not as stifling as being down in the plains, which we appreciate. The building is pretty functional. We don't spend money on fancy signs or expensive furniture. We have a lot of storage space for the items we’re moving, and the office part is just where we handle the invoices and the emails. There’s a lot of traffic on Bangalore Road, so there is a constant hum of engines outside our window. We spend our days coordinating with drivers and making sure the loads are ready to go out on time. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We have a few locals working with us who have been here since we started. We don't do things the way big city companies do; we’re much more informal here. If a truck is late, we just call the driver and see what’s happening instead of sending a dozen emails. We keep it simple and focus on the day-to-day tasks of getting the goods from one place to another without too much trouble. It’s just how we run things every day.
