If you are looking for us at Gidc Estate, we are right there at Plot 4796, just across from the big water tank. Being near Lyka Lab makes it easy for people to find the turn. The workshop is usually a bit greasy because we deal with a lot of heavy machinery parts and iron. There is always a sound of metal hitting metal or the hum of a lathe machine running in the background. We have been in this spot for quite a while now. The roof is high but it still gets quite hot in the afternoon sun. We keep a lot of spare parts on the shelves, mostly organized but sometimes things get misplaced when we are in a hurry. Most of the work involves fixing components or assembling units for factories nearby. It is hard work and our clothes usually end up with oil stains by lunchtime. We don't have much of a front office, just a small desk near the entrance where we keep the ledger and the phone. The floor is concrete and has seen a lot of wear over the years from heavy crates being dragged across it. We just focus on the mechanical side of things and making sure the parts fit the way they should. It is a basic setup but it works for what we do every day. There is a guy who brings around tea at four which we all look forward to.
