Videocon Industries Ltd(Glass)

Our place is over at B-31 in Jyotinagar-2, which is part of the Maktampur area. This neighborhood has a mix of regular houses and small businesses all operating side by side. We specifically handle the glass division of the industry from this location. It is a very hands-on kind of job where we are always checking on the glass specs and making sure the quality of what we are handling is right. The office is pretty basic with just a few desks, some chairs, and shelves full of records and samples from over the years. Maktampur has its own steady pace, and we just try to keep up with the daily demands without getting too overwhelmed. The morning usually starts with a quick meeting to figure out what needs to be shipped and what new orders have come in overnight. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the warehouse staff and the drivers who move the glass crates. Sometimes things break or the delivery timing gets messed up because of bad roads, and we have to scramble to find a solution. It is not the kind of work where you can just sit around and do nothing. There is always a pile of documents to sort or someone coming by with a specific question. We are a small crew and we all know how to pitch in and help out when it gets busy.
