Being located in the Gidc Estate means it’s always a bit noisy around here. There’s always a truck backing up or someone unloading something nearby at 4717. It’s an industrial area, so you expect that kind of thing. Our space isn't really the kind of place you'd visit for the decor. It’s all about the drums, the pipes, and making sure the floor stays relatively clean, which is a constant battle with all the dust flying around the estate. We start early because the heat gets a bit much by the afternoon. Most of the guys here have been working together for a long time, so we don't really need to say much to get things done. We just know the routine. Lunch is usually a quick affair, maybe some food brought from home or something from the small stall down the road. It’s practical work. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure the storage is organized properly. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit slow, especially when it rains hard and the estate roads get those big puddles. But we just keep at it. There’s always another order to prep or a shipment to double-check. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day. We don’t do anything flashy, just the regular daily operations that come with being in a place like Gidc.
