If you are looking for us, we are in James Plaza Square, Shop No. F-29. It is right near the Asian Paint Chowkdi in the GIDC area. Being in an industrial estate like this means there is always something going on outside. Lots of dust and people moving around. Inside the shop, it is a bit different because we handle scientific stuff. Think of glass tubes, beakers, and various instruments for labs. It is a lot of fragile things, so we have to be careful when we are unpacking crates. The shelves are packed pretty tight. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for. We try to keep things organized, but it’s a small shop and new stuff comes in all the time. It is mostly a one-room operation where we talk to customers and box up orders. The air conditioner tries its best, but when the door keeps opening, it gets hot in here. We aren't some giant corporation with a call center. Usually, it's just one or two of us behind the counter. We know the regulars who come from the nearby factories to pick up supplies. It is a simple way to make a living, selling glassware and tools to people who need them for their experiments or tests. We just make sure the boxes are padded well so nothing breaks.
