Nityanand Hospital

Our hospital is situated in the GIDC Estate area, specifically inside Nilkant Society. We are very close to the ONGC Workshop in Ankleshwar. If you know the industrial estate at all, you will find us easily enough. It is a busy part of town with a lot of factories and different businesses surrounding us. Because we are right in the GIDC area, there is always a lot of movement—trucks, workers, and sometimes a bit of smoke in the air. The hospital building is straightforward and honest. We have a few wards and a small area for emergencies. The lobby has some of those old-fashioned wooden benches for people to sit on. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we would rather just keep the lights on and the floors scrubbed. Our nurses are from around here and they speak the local language, which helps a lot when people come in feeling worried. We have been in Ankleshwar for a long time, so we have seen the whole estate grow and change over the years. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk by the entrance, but other days it gets quite hectic with many people arriving at once. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just handle the cases that come through the door. It is a working-class hospital for a working-class area. We just try to be helpful and keep things moving as best as we can every day.
