Kampala Machine Tools

Our shop is at Shop No 5, right near the Sardar Patel Complex on Gidc Road. It’s a busy road with a lot of trucks and people moving back and forth all day. We mostly handle machine tools and different parts that folks in the local workshops need. It’s a dusty job, honestly. There’s always grease on the counters and the smell of metal in the air. We’ve been here for some time, and most of the regulars know us by name. We don't have a big website or a fancy office. It’s just the shop floor and some shelves filled with heavy equipment. Sometimes a customer comes in looking for something very specific, and we have to dig through the back to find it. It's not always organized perfectly, but we know where everything is. The heat gets a bit much in the afternoons, but that’s just how it goes on Gidc Road. We keep the doors open so people can see we’re in. It’s a simple setup. We sell tools, we talk to the mechanics, and we close up when the sun goes down. Nothing more to it than that. If you’re driving past the complex, you’ll see our sign. It’s a bit faded now, but it still works. We just try to keep the right stuff on hand for whoever walks in.
