Jayaben Mody Hospital

We are basically located within the Anand Hospital premises. It can be a little confusing for people visiting for the first time because of the two names, but we are all in the same general spot. The hospital stays very busy with people coming in from all over the area. There are always stretchers moving through the hallways and the sound of bells ringing for the nurses. Our section is usually crowded with families waiting for news or sitting with their relatives. The paint on the walls is a bit faded in some of the hallways, and the floor has scuff marks from all the trolleys. We have a small canteen nearby where the smell of coffee and fried snacks drifts in during the afternoons. It is a big, noisy place where something is always happening. We do not really have a lot of time for fancy decorations, so the walls are mostly covered with notices and health charts. The staff works in shifts, so there is always a new group of faces coming in every few hours. It is not a quiet or relaxing place, but it is a hospital, so you expect it to be a bit hectic. We just try to keep things moving and make sure everyone gets seen. Most of the people who work here have been doing it for years and they know the layout of the building like the back of their hand.
