If you’ve ever been to an industrial estate, you know what it’s like—lots of metal buildings, trucks everywhere, and the smell of manufacturing in the air. That’s our daily life. We work with extrusion machines, which are big, loud, and sometimes a bit temperamental. Our days are mostly spent on the factory floor, watching the plastic come out of the dies and making sure the cooling tanks are working right. It’s not a clean office job; we usually end the day with some grease on our hands or dust on our clothes. The office part is just a small room where we keep the books and take calls. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just know our machines and how to make them produce what we need. The heat from the extruders can be a bit much in the summer, but we keep the fans going and just get on with it. We’ve been part of the GIDC community for a while now, and we know the guys in the neighboring units. It’s a hard-working place where we focus on the product rather than how we look. We just open the gates in the morning and keep the lines running until the work is done for the day. It is noisy and sweaty, but it is honest work.
