Surya Udyog

Surya Udyog is located at C-1-b-5225 inside the GIDC Estate. It’s one of those big industrial areas where every building looks the same from the outside. We’ve been in this particular shed for a long time. The space is filled with equipment and supplies stacked up against the walls. It gets quite loud during the day because of the work being done, but we’re used to it. My desk is tucked away in a corner where I can keep an eye on everything happening on the floor. We don’t have a big staff, just a few local people who know how to get the job done right. We usually have tea together in the afternoon when things slow down a bit. The estate is always crowded with transport vehicles, so getting in and out can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you walk in, you’ll probably see someone working right away. The building gets quite hot during the summer months, so we have a few big fans running all the time. It’s a basic setup but it’s ours. We handle the daily tasks without making much of a fuss. The paperwork piles up on the shelf, but we try to stay on top of it every weekend. It’s a steady life here in the GIDC and we just keep going.
