Machhar Industries Ltd.

Our place, Machhar Industries Ltd., is out in the GIDC area of Ankleshwar. Specifically, we're at Office No. 614 in Panoli. If you know Gujarat, you know this is a big industrial zone. There are factories everywhere you look. We have been working out of this office for a good bit now. It is a practical space, nothing too special to look at, but it works for us. The air around here always smells like industry, which is something you just get used to after a week. We mostly spend our time managing the production and making sure the machines are running like they should. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping an eye on the clock. We aren't really the type of people to sit around in meetings all day. We’d rather be out on the floor seeing how things are going. Sometimes things break down and we have to fix them on the fly. That is just part of the job. Most of the guys working here are from nearby villages or towns, so there is a lot of local talk during lunch breaks. We keep our paperwork in order but we don't make a big deal out of it. It’s just a regular workplace in a very busy part of the state. We’ve been here through the hot summers and the monsoons, just keeping things moving and trying to make sure everything gets shipped out to where it needs to go.
