Dr Engineering

Our workshop, Dr Engineering, is situated at Plot No. 4107, which is very close to the Crystal Chokdi area. If you spend any time around here, you probably know the place because it’s a bit of a local landmark for people giving directions. We do all sorts of engineering work, so there is always a project being welded, bolted together, or taken apart for repairs. The floors are made of thick concrete and there’s usually a fair amount of noise from the machines running in the back. It’s definitely not a quiet or peaceful office space. We have a small crew of workers who actually understand how these mechanical things are supposed to function. We spend our days staring at technical drawings or just getting our hands dirty with different parts. Sometimes a job goes exactly as planned and other times we’re all sitting around scratching our heads over a difficult problem for half the day. That’s just how engineering tends to go. Being located near Crystal Chokdi is very convenient because it’s easy for people to find us. We’ve been in this particular building for several years now and it’s started to feel like a second home. There are tools laying on almost every surface and the smell of industrial oil is just a part of the air we breathe. We don't have a fancy front desk or a receptionist; usually, you’ll just find one of us in our work clothes ready to talk about a project. We just keep our heads down and finish the day.
