Amar Plastics operates out of Plot No. L/6219/2. It’s a bit out of the way compared to some of the bigger factories, but that suits us just fine. We have our own rhythm here. The main floor is filled with our machines and there isn't much room for anything else. We’ve had to organize everything very carefully just to make sure people can walk through. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting things and keeping an eye on the temperature of the equipment. Plastic work can be a bit messy sometimes, so there’s usually some scrap on the floor that needs sweeping up at the end of the shift. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the machines. We usually eat our lunch together on some crates near the front entrance. It’s not fancy, but the food tastes better when you’ve been working hard. The plot itself is nothing fancy, just a functional space where we do our business. We’ve learned over the years that as long as the machines are running and the power stays on, we’re doing okay. Sometimes the local truck drivers get lost looking for this plot number, so we end up standing out on the road to wave them in. It’s just part of the daily routine for us here. We keep things simple and just keep working at the machines.
