Umiya Instruments

Our shop is at G-5, Shree Narmada Arcade. It is right on the Old Nh-8 road. It’s actually pretty easy to find because we are directly opposite the Hdfc Bank. The traffic outside on the highway is always moving and it gets a bit noisy during rush hour. We deal with various instruments here. If you walk inside, you will see shelves full of different tools and measuring devices. It’s a bit cramped in the office part sometimes because we have a lot of stock coming in and going out. We’ve been at this arcade for a good while. The building gets busy in the afternoons with people going to the other shops too. Most people who stop by are looking for something very specific for their technical work. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and making sure everything is where it should be on the racks. The sun hits our front windows right around midday and it can get pretty warm inside. We have a small team here. Everyone does a bit of everything, from answering the phones to packing up the boxes for delivery. It is not a corporate setup at all. We just try to get the orders right and out the door on time. Sometimes the printer jams or we run out of packing tape at the wrong moment. It’s just a normal, busy workplace. We like being near the bank because it helps people find us. It’s a practical space for our business.
