We’ve been at Plot 4525 for a good while now. It’s right near Deep Jyot Stationery, which makes it easy for people to find us. Mostly, we just keep our heads down and work on whatever machines come through the door. It’s not a fancy setup, just a regular workshop with some tools and parts scattered around where they need to be. Sometimes the noise from the street gets a bit loud, but you get used to it after a few years. People stop by to ask questions or get something fixed, and we just do what we can. It’s a lot of metal work and mechanical stuff. My hands are usually greasy by noon, but that’s just how the job is. We don’t spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork if we can help it. There’s always a cup of tea going somewhere in the back. The neighborhood has changed a bit over time, but we’re still here doing the same things. It’s a practical life, really. We open up early, check what needs doing for the day, and get to it. Some days are busier than others, especially when a big order comes in or something breaks down nearby. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know the machines. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid.
