Sahkar Gruh Udhyog

Sahkar Gruh Udhyog is located at Plot No. 1407. We are right behind the police station, which makes it very easy to tell people where to go. This is a small operation. We do things mostly by hand or with some very simple equipment. It is a bit of a local tradition for us here. The space inside is a bit cramped because we have a lot of supplies and ingredients stored in the back corners. We started Sahkar Gruh Udhyog because we wanted to work for ourselves and stay busy making things for the community. Being at Plot No. 1407 works well for us. It is a quiet enough spot, except for the sirens that go off occasionally. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on people in the neighborhood knowing we are here. Most of our day is spent preparing the goods and packing them into small bags. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we don't really mind it. My family helps out when things get really busy during the festival season. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps during our lunch break to get some air. The police station is a good landmark for the delivery drivers. We have had some rainy days where the roof leaked a bit onto the floor, so we had to fix it ourselves. It is just a normal, everyday business. We do our best at Plot No. 1407.
