Niranjan Laboratory

Our place, Niranjan Laboratory, is situated at Plot No. 313-16-3 within the Gidc Esate. It’s not a very big laboratory, but we have everything we need tucked into this space. People expect labs to be white and spotless, but since we are in an industrial estate, it’s a bit more practical than that. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glassware and making sure the counters are ready for the next set of tests. The floors are a bit worn down from years of walking back and forth between the benches. There’s a specific hum from the ventilation fans that you get used to after a few hours. We don't really have a lobby or a receptionist. If someone needs us, they usually just knock on the side door or call out. It’s a quiet kind of work compared to the machine shops next door, but it requires a lot of standing around and waiting for things to react. We keep our records in big binders on a shelf that's starting to sag a little under the weight. The address at Plot 313-16-3 can be a bit tricky for new delivery drivers to find because the signs in this part of Gidc aren't very clear. We usually tell them to look for the building with the green window frames. We just keep our heads down and do the testing that’s required, day in and day out.
