Miranda Tools

You can find Miranda Tools over at Plot No. 9034. It’s a bit of a high number, so sometimes people get lost looking for us, but once you find the gate, you’ll see we are always busy. We work with tools and metal. There’s always the sound of grinding or sharpening happening somewhere in the shop. It is a bit of a dark space inside, filled with heavy machinery and workbenches that have seen better days. We don't care much for how the place looks as long as the tools we make are solid. Our hands are usually covered in some kind of oil or metal dust by lunch. We take our breaks together and talk about whatever is going on in the neighborhood. It’s a very straightforward way of living. We’ve been making tools for a long time, so we don't really need manuals anymore; we just know how the metal should feel. Sometimes we get a strange request for a custom piece, and that makes the day interesting. Mostly, though, it is just steady, repetitive work. We aren't looking to grow into some massive company; we like the size we are. It’s manageable and we know all our regulars by name. It is just a regular workshop where we put in our hours and go home. We just keep our machines running and the floor swept.
