Kumar Packaging

Kumar Packaging is basically just us working out of Plot No. J1911. We’ve been here for a good while now, and the place has seen better days, but it works for what we do. It’s mostly just stacks of cardboard, rolls of tape, and the sound of the cutting machines going all day long. If you come by in the morning, you’ll probably see the truck backed up right to the door because the loading area is a bit tight. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just wipes their hands and sees who it is. The roof leaks a tiny bit in the corner when it rains really hard, but we moved the finished stock away from there so it’s fine. Most of our day is spent looking at order sheets and making sure the dimensions are right. It gets dusty, especially when we are moving the older stock around, but that is just part of the job. We share this bit of the road with a few other workshops, so parking is always a headache if you arrive after nine. We keep a small stove in the back for making tea because the shop down the road is too far to walk to every time someone wants a break. It's just a regular local business, nothing too complicated about it. We just focus on getting the work done and getting home.
