You can find J K Pithia over at Plot No. 225. It’s not a very big place, just a simple building where we do our daily work. I took over from my father, and we’ve kept things mostly the same as they were back then. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive advertising around town. Most people who come here heard about us from a neighbor or a friend. The gate is usually open from early morning until the sun goes down. Sometimes we stay late if there’s a big pile of work that needs finishing before the weekend. It’s mostly just me and two other guys who have been here forever. We have a small radio that plays in the background, mostly news and some local music. The desk is covered in old invoices and scraps of paper with scribbled notes. It looks a bit unorganized to an outsider, but I know where everything is. We handle whatever comes through the door as long as it’s something we can fix or build. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but that isn't really a priority right now. We’d rather focus on the task at hand. It’s a quiet life, mostly. We just enjoy being our own bosses and working with our hands every day. Plot 225 has been home for a long time and we don't plan on going anywhere.
