We’ve been here at Plot No. 128-1 for a good while now. It’s a busy spot, mostly filled with the sound of machines and the smell of chemicals that you just get used to after the first week. My name is one of many on the floor, and we just show up, get the batches going, and make sure everything is sealed up right. It’s not fancy work, but it keeps us moving. Some days the heat in the lab gets a bit much, especially when the fans aren't doing their job well, but we manage. We aren't a giant office with carpets; it’s mostly just concrete floors and metal tables. People around here know us because we’ve been in this specific plot for years. We handle the pharmaceutical side of things, which means a lot of checking labels and making sure the mixtures are exactly where they need to be. Sometimes the trucks come late for pickup, and we end up sitting around the gate drinking tea and talking about the weekend. It’s just a regular workplace with regular people trying to get the job done before the sun goes down. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad, though the road gets muddy when it rains. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the work we do every day. It’s steady, it’s honest, and it’s what we know how to do best here at Plot 128-1.
