Our place is at Plot No. 3706-b and it’s a bit smaller than some of the others around here. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the scent. It’s a mix of everything we are working on that day. Some days it's floral and other days it’s something sharper. We handle a lot of small bottles and concentrated oils. It takes a steady hand so you don't spill anything expensive. The mixing room is where most of the action happens. We have shelves lined with jars and every one of them is labeled. The sunlight comes through the high windows and hits the dust in the air. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and someone will probably be busy pouring something or writing on a clipboard. It gets quiet here sometimes when everyone is concentrating. We’ve had some of the same equipment for years because it still works just fine. We don't see the point in replacing things that aren't broken. Our neighbors at the other plots usually stop by to say hello. Sometimes the delivery drivers complain about the narrow lane, but we manage to get the trucks in and out. It’s a simple setup at Fine Fragrances Pvt. Ltd. We just show up, do the mixing, and go home when the sun goes down. It’s just a regular job for us.
