Ekon Abrasives

We’ve been over at Plot No. 39 for a while now, tucked into the Hiron Shopping Centre. It’s not the biggest place you’ve ever seen, but it gets the job done for Ekon Abrasives. Most mornings start early, before the rest of the shops even think about opening their shutters. You can hear the traffic starting up outside while we move things around. Sometimes the hallways here get a bit crowded with boxes, and we have to shuffle stuff just to make a path. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. We spend most of our time checking over the stock and making sure everything is where it should be. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven’t found the time between all the orders coming in and going out. There’s a tea stall just around the corner where we usually grab a quick cup when things get too hectic. Dealing with abrasives means things can get a bit dusty if you aren't careful, so we’re always sweeping up. It’s just how it goes in a place like this. We don’t have fancy offices or anything, just a few desks and a lot of storage space for the inventory. People sometimes get lost looking for the specific plot number inside the centre, but we’ve been here long enough that most the regulars know exactly which door is ours. It’s just us doing our thing every day.
