Dayaram Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. is found at Plot No. 5155, which is right near the Geb 66kv Sub Station. You can’t miss the big electrical wires nearby. It’s a busy part of the industrial zone. We handle a lot of chemical barrels and containers every day. The ground is usually stained here and there from years of moving stuff around. We have a tall gate and a small guard shack at the entrance. Most of our day is spent monitoring the tanks and making sure the temperatures are right. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The noise from the sub station adds to the general hum of the area. We have a small staff room where the guys eat their lunch brought from home. It’s got a couple of old chairs and a calendar from three years ago still hanging on the wall. We don’t bother much with the decor because the work happens on the floor, not in the office. There’s a lot of steam and heat sometimes, especially in the summer months. We just try to keep the fans going and get the batches finished. Everything at Plot No. 5155 is built for function. We have the storage area in the back and the processing units in the center. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and careful measuring. We just get on with it and then go home to our families.
