Crystal Enterprise

Our place, Crystal Enterprise, is located at 4009 in the Gidc Crystal Square area. Being in the Gidc means there’s always something going on around us. Trucks coming and going, the sound of machinery, and lots of people in uniforms. We handle a variety of industrial supplies. It’s not the kind of place where people just walk in to browse. Usually, it’s someone who knows exactly what part they need for their factory. The office is pretty small, mostly just a couple of computers and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers. Sometimes the connections are bad, and we have to call back three times. It’s frustrating, but that’s part of the job. We don’t have any slick brochures or a PR person. It’s just me and two other guys making sure orders get out on time. The Gidc gets pretty dusty, especially in the dry season, so we spend a lot of time dusting off the boxes. We eat our lunch at the small canteen down the street most days. We’ve been at this spot for quite a few years now. We know the other business owners in Crystal Square, and we help each other out when we can. It’s a tough environment but we’ve got a good routine going. We just focus on the work in front of us and try to get home before it gets too dark.
