Our warehouse is located at Plot No. C-1-1033, right near the Somani Chowkdi. That intersection is always crowded with trucks and rickshaws, so there is a lot of honking that we hear all day long. At Bhavi Bulk Pack Pvt. Ltd., we deal with a lot of heavy material. You’ll see huge rolls of plastic and fabric stacked up almost to the ceiling if you walk inside the main doors. It takes a bit of work to keep everything organized, and sometimes the stacks get a little messy when we are in a hurry to finish a big order. The machines we use for the bulk packaging are old but they still run fine as long as we oil them regularly. We have a small team here, and most of us live nearby, so we just walk or cycle into work every morning. The break room is just a few chairs and a table in the back, nothing special. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just show up, see what orders came in overnight, and start loading the machines. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we have to sit around and wait for it to come back on, which gives us a chance to catch up on the local news. It is a steady life, focused on getting the bags ready for whoever needs them next. We just keep doing what we know.
