Asian Paints (I) Ltd.

Our location is at Plot No. 2602. It’s a busy place, as you can imagine. Asian Paints (I) Ltd. has a lot going on at this site. We deal with so many different colors and types of finishes that the warehouse is always a sea of colorful buckets and cans. You get used to the smell of pigment and solvent pretty quickly. It’s not a quiet job. There’s always the sound of forklifts moving around and people shouting orders over the noise of the mixers. We spend a lot of time checking the labels and making sure the inventory matches the system. It’s a big operation, but on the ground, it’s just us trying to keep things organized. The plot is a bit of a maze of shelving and pallets. Sometimes it feels like we’re just moving things from one side to the other, but there's a rhythm to it. We don't really have time for corporate slogans or anything like that. We just focus on getting the right shade to the right person. The floors are stained with a hundred different colors from old spills, which kind of tells the story of how long we’ve been here. It’s a practical, hardworking atmosphere. We just show up, do the mixing, and get the cans on the trucks for the day.
