Samkin Industries

You can find Samkin Industries at Plot No. 611 in the G.I.D.C. area. We are right by the association office, which makes it easy for people to find us. The shop is usually humming with the sound of the machines. We make various industrial parts that go out to different factories. It is a straightforward operation. We have a small office space for the bills, but most of the action happens out on the floor. The air smells a bit like oil and metal, which is normal for this part of town. We’ve got a small team of guys who have been with us for a long time. They know the machines better than anyone. We don't do much in the way of fancy meetings. Usually, we just talk over what needs to be done while we are working. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just sit outside until it comes back on. It’s a good community here in the G.I.D.C. Everyone knows everyone else's business. We try to keep our area clean, but with all the manufacturing going on, it’s a constant battle with the dust. We take pride in just getting the orders out correctly and on time without making a big fuss about it. It’s a solid, honest day’s work for all of us. Sometimes we share a meal together when we have a big deadline to hit.
