Mili Dye Chem

We have been operating out of Plot No.1817 for quite a few years now. It is right near the Crystal Chokadi in the GIDC, so if you are familiar with the area, you know how congested the roads can get with all the trucks. Our place is not much to look at from the outside, just a standard industrial unit with a lot of movement. Inside, it’s mostly barrels, mixing vats, and a lot of paperwork sitting on old metal desks. We spend the day handling various dye chemicals, which means there is always a particular smell in the air that you eventually stop noticing. It is a lot of hard work and sometimes things get messy, but we try to keep the orders moving. We don’t have a fancy front office or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, it is just one of us coming off the floor to see who is at the door. Some days are long, especially when we have a big batch that needs to be finished before the sun goes down. We have seen a lot of businesses come and go in this part of GIDC. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually end up talking about the day’s work. We don’t bother with big ads or anything like that. People just know we are here and what we do. It’s a simple life, really, just making sure the chemicals are right and the trucks are loaded.
