Shree Krishna Engineers

Our workshop is at Plot No 257 in GIDC Phase II, which is over in the Anjar-Kutch area. We are an engineering firm, but that basically means we spend our days fixing and building metal parts. The GIDC is a busy place, and there’s always the sound of someone else’s factory in the background. We have some heavy equipment like lathes and milling machines that have been with us for years. The air always has that distinct smell of oil and metal shavings. Living and working in Kutch can be a bit of a challenge because of the heat, so we have some big fans that we keep running all day long. We mostly do work for the other companies around here when their machinery breaks down. Sometimes it’s a small part that needs fixing, and other times it’s a big project that takes us a few weeks to finish. We are just a small group of people who know how to handle tools. We don't have a website or any fancy advertisements. Most people find out about us from their friends or other business owners in the area. We try to keep things simple and honest. If we can't do a job, we’ll tell you straight away. We don't use any corporate talk here. It’s just us in our overalls, getting the work done as best as we can. It’s a simple life, but it’s good work and it keeps our families supported.
