Sam Foods

We are located right on Anam Ring Road, just across from Farsani Dunia here in Kutch. It’s a dusty part of the road, but it’s always busy with traffic. We spend our days inside the unit making sure the food production goes smoothly. Most of the people working here live nearby, so it’s a local crowd. We don’t have fancy uniforms or big meetings. We just get in, start the machines, and get to work. The heat in Kutch can be pretty intense, so we try to do the heavy lifting in the morning hours. Our space is filled with bags of ingredients and boxes ready for shipping. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. We have to keep a close eye on everything to make sure it’s done right. Some days we have more orders than we can handle, and everyone has to stay a bit late to finish up. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we’re checking an invoice. Most of our business happens over the phone or just by people stopping their trucks out front. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. We just make food and try to keep things moving so people keep coming back to us. It gets loud with the traffic outside and the fans inside, but that’s just a normal day for us. We just focus on the task at hand.
